August 29, 1527

I have had enough with this journey. We have been away for a great span of time and we have found little. Both my ship and my brother's were halted at the Straight of Magellan, while the other ship continued on with the voyage. We were stopped by horrible weather and a mutinous crew. My brother and I decided to change course and sail north again to the coast of Brazil where we loaded one of the ships with precise cargo of red dye wood called brazilwood. We then set sail for France. I have not heard from the other ship that continued past the Straight of Magellan bit I rumors says they rounded Cape Horn. I estimate we will arrive in France in September.
